A coveted NetHack item that increases your luck. It appears as a gray stone, same as flint or a loadstone (ugh). There is additional luck from carrying 2 luckstones, but more than that will bring no additional luck. You are guaranteed to find a luckstone at the bottom of the Gnomish Mines. Other than that, you can wish for them or just find them lying around.
