haikyo is the website mentioned in the film 'Noriko's Dinner Table', the followup to 'Suicide Circle'.
the Japanese word for ruins, haikyo.com is also a site created by/for the livejournal roleplay Cradel of Forest, after the Akira Yamaoka/Joe Romersa song of the same name. CoF is a writing collective/ongoing fanfiction featuring original characters and ficticious people from various TV, movie and mangas. The story takes place in the video game town, Silent Hill. Several of the characters contact each other through the network, an internet like entity reachable through the radios that signal them to monsters being present. (The network is represented by each character's personal journal, while actions take place in a separate group blog.
