This is where servers go when they are obsolete, or cost more to repair than replace. All servers go here, whether they hosted secret hacker websites or CIA intranet sites. Information wants to be free, and even those misguided ones more concerned about the desires of people than the desires of information must realize that servers are more than the soulless pieces of junk which are the empty husk left over after the information is passed to other carriers.

The first computers were make of punch cards or vacuum tubes depending on what you mean by computer. I don't think anyone ever actually developed a punch card server, but if they did, it dwells in peace exchanging data with primitive 486 servers and musing over the itanium servers which have recently been born and will someday take their place in the great server farm in the sky.
