A situation that is embarassing, obviously. Some of my personal favourites include:

Cutting myself while shaving, not noticing and then wearing a pristine white shirt to the big meeting, completely unaware that my collar was drenched in blood.
Accidentally body checking the CEO of my company while drunk at a wedding.
Running up the stairs in high school and having the pocket of my khakis get caught on the railing, tearing out the entire right leg of my pants.
Getting entirely too drunk, stripping off my shoes and socks and hitting the dancefloor at a night club. I was a five minute sensation, before the bouncer ejected me.
Wriggling out of a nasty hold during a Judo match, only to realise that the bottom half of my gi had remained firmly in the grasp of my opponent.

Not to be confused with an uncomfortable moment, which is basically embarassing for all involved.
