The term ought to apply equally to big corporations which register shitloads of stupid unnecessary domains for marketing gimmicks or to "protect their trademarks"... especially ridiculous is when they register versions of their name with "sucks" appended to it to forestall the possible emergence of criticism sites at those addresses. But the mainstream media, and the ICANN dispute policy arbitrators, don't see it that way, and only refer to non-corporate domain hoarders as "cybersquatters".
