Unsettling.

Often foreign settings will seem creepy. Usually surreal, with everything appearing normal except a few noticeable discrepancies. Like walking through miles of green fields to find a five-hundred foot statue of a white elephant.

Creep"y (kr?p"?), a.

Crawly; having or producing a sensation like that caused by insects creeping on the skin.

[Colloq.]

One's whole blood grew curdling and creepy. R. Browning.
