Animutation describes a kind of movie (usually
flash) that combines random-seeming
symbols of
pop culture with either foreign language or esoteric music.
These shorts often contain visual interlingual oronyms for the soundtrack being played.
Hyakugojyuuichi is a prime example of Animutation. It was produced by Neil Cicierega, who may have coined the term.
