There's a wrinkle in the sky today.
It looked just like a frown.
There's a wrinkle in the sky today.
What made the sky feel down?

Were the clouds all misbehaving?
Was the sunset not quite right?
Were the stars not fully shedding,
Their most brilliant light?

There's a wrinkle in the sky today.
I hope that all is fine,
And that that wrinkle may just be,
A jolly laugh line.
