This is Bruce Brown's first documentary, about two surfers who follow the summer around the world. It was made in 1964, and was a brilliant film. The music (by The Sandals) is unforgettable, the cinematography is lovely, and the film itself inspiring.

Only The Endless Summer 2 could top it.
