A line dance that can be performed to much better songs than the one that shares its name. A general dance class I went to used to do the Electric Slide to "Look At All Those Idiots" from "The Simpsons Sing The Blues."

In my many experiences while being a mobile DJ, the one dance that always gets people out on the dance floor, is any song that you can do Electric Slide to. I myself have started a relationship all on the foundation of meeting while participating in the Electric Slide, although it ended once the song did.

The most popular songs that I have seen The Electric Slide used in are The Boot Scoot Boogie by Brooks & Dunn, Any Man of Mine by Shania Twain, and The Hustle. The following is a step by step guide how to properly do one variation of The Electric Slide.
