The more than 30 million dollars raised went to the Robin Hood Relief Fund and Twin Towers Fund, which was established by Mayor Rudolph Giuliani to benefit rescue workers. Funds will also go to a number of other relief organizations.

The concert was broadcast on VH1. There is also a double Cd of the music and a double DVD set on sale.
