I can remember the first piece of music I ever really listened to.... Telegraph Road by Dire Straits. I must have been about 12-13 or so, never really listened to music before, (although my mum says I used to sing to her when I was only about a year old) but I was reading a book, and listening to this tape my mum had put on. It seemed to put me into an almost fugue like state where I was totally immersed in the book, and at the same time hearing every note; the song was sending fork lightning up my spine to super charge my brain...

I was somewhat dissapointed to once hear Mark Knoplfer say he didn't much care for it, as it relied to much on psycho-acoustics, rather than music.
