A member of Cobra, Storm Shadow was the white-clothed Ninja. Unlike many other Cobra members, Stormshadow had a sense of honor which sometime conflicted with his mission objectives.

He was acquainted with GI JOE member Snake-Eyes before they were associated with their current organization.

Storm Shadow has died (or at least mostly died) at least once. His DNA was encorporated into Serpentor.

He was taught by the Soft Master and the Hard Master.

Being a ninja, he used swords, nunchaku, and throwing stars, but no guns.
