Daughter of veteran actor Efrem Zimbalist Jr. and co-star of the 1980s television series Remington Steele with Pierce Brosnan. She was born October 8th, 1956 in New York City. She was often confused with Stephanie Powers who co-starred in another 80s detective series, Hart To Hart. Stephanie is a vegetarian, stands five feet five inches in stocking feet, likes the works of C.S. Lewis and although she's never achieved the level of popularity she enjoyed while performing in Remington Steele, Ms. Zimbalist manages to keep herself busy, working on stage and screen.
Ms. Zimbalist has done some tv Movies in the past twenty years, and guest starred in shows like The Love Boat, Touched By An Angel, and Batman: the Animated Series. She co-starred with Tommy Tune in the 1987 touring company of My One and Only. Most recently, Ms. Zimbalist has made an appearance in the tv series Crossing Jordan, and starred in the tv movie Malpractice which co-starred Gabrielle Carteris and was directed by Micky Dolenz (famous for his work with The Monkees). She also occasionally does stage theater in California.
