After he retired from his extraordinary fjord work, Slartibartfast joined the Campaign for Real Time, traveling in a spiffy spacecraft powered by the enigmatic Bistromathics Drive and an elaborate Somebody Else's Problem field. Through his efforts, along with Arthur, Trillian, and Marvin, Life, the Universe, and Everything was saved from utter destruction by the forces from Krikkit.
