A great singer noted for his bad music. Lead singer for turgid metal resellers Judas Priest (Halford's dubious stage presence and his wardrobe - think of a haggard, balding, bottle-blonde Pee-Wee Herman, dressed as Leather Man from The Village People - was more memorable than the music), the much-better Fight, and subsequent ventures. Outed himself a couple of years back.

Perhaps one of the greatest voices in eighties metal. Sang with Phil of Pantera once. Went to trial once because some kid killed himself while listening to a Judas Priest album. Sang questionable lyrics on the witness stand with no music or backup. Legendary.
