The Town of Richmond Hill, Ontario began as land located partially in Markham and Vaughan (Thornhill). Fed by Yonge Street, Richmond Hill was incorporated as a village in 1873 and it is still growing rapidly today.

Many of the high-tech businesses end up on, or near, a large looping roadway which encircles Leslie street. On one side is East Beaver Creek and on the other side is West Beaver Creek. Inevitably these roads are referred to in risque lunchroom conversation as Eat Beaver Creek and Wet Beaver Creek. But not within earshot of the PHB, please.

It tends to be a pretty dismal place to work. But, there's a large Chinese community, which results in many delicious Chinese restaurants where programmers can get spicy Szechuan food cheap. So it's not all bad.
