The newborn is a new type of xenomorph intorduced in Alien: Resurrection when the alien queen develops a womb due to it and Ripley's DNA combining. It's white and much more humanoid than the normal aliens (it has no double jaw, for example). A disappointment as the final obstacle Ripley has to face in the film, and lot less cool than the normal aliens
