One of San Francisco's many neighborhoods. Much of the population is Spanish-speaking, but not necessarily Catholic. There seem to be a lot of Pentecostal churches. The neighborhood is quite diverse, as it is also home to many Chinese, blacks, and other whites.

The Mission is currently embroiled in a battle between its residents and the yuppie, who are rapidly infesting it in search of office space for their dot-coms.

The main drag is Mission St, and it is located near SoMa and the Castro.
