Line from
Janet Jackson's song "
Nasty Boys" on her
1986 album
Control. In context:
"And no, my name's not 'baby'. It's Janet. Miss Jackson if you're nasty!"
This is a good all around phrase*, and there are all sorts of wonderful things you can do with it.
- You can of course instantly throw it out whenever somebody says the name "Janet". This is ideal, but happens rarely. If you are lucky enough to be in a situation where the name "Janet" comes up frequently, try to repeat the phrase each and every time it's said until your friends and/or co-workers want to kill you.
- You can use it when referring to another person by name. For extra-confusing power, use if when the person in question is male. ("All of the documentation will be handled by Troy. Miss Jackson, if you're nasty!")
- You can take the "Jackson" part out and insert anyone's surname. ("Gertude. Miss Stein if you're nasty!")
For added effect, follow up with a hip hop dance move.
* In its usage, similar to "_____ 2: Electric Boogaloo".
