A traditional breakfast sweet bread of the Philippines.


2 cups flour 2 tsp baking soda 1 tsp salt 1 cup sugar 1 tsp cinnamon 1/2 cup raisins 3/4 cup vegetable oil 3 eggs 2 ripe mangos -- chopped (see how to eat a mango) 1 tsp vanilla extract


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Mix all ingredients well.
  3. Pour into greased pan.
  4. Bake for one hour.
  5. Cool for at least 20 minutes before serving.
