The Mai Tai was invented by Victor Bergeron of Trader Vic's fame.

Combine the juice of one fresh lime with three ounces of light Martinique rum, 1 ounce of triple sec, 3/4 ounce of orgeat, 1/2 ounce of simple syrup. Shake. Add one ounce of dark Jamaican rum and garnish with a mint sprig. Serve on ice.

2 oz.           Dark Rum
1/2 tsp.      Sugar
1 oz.           Curacao
1/2 oz.       Amaretto
1/2 oz.       Grenadine
Juice of 1 Lime

Shake contents well with ice. Add spent lime shell when done.
