Good piece of advice for the party-gettin'-drunk types out there. The corresponding rhyme is:

Beer before liquor, you've never been sicker.

And hey, it makes logical sense too -- why would you want to drink beer while you can actually taste it? Go for the hard liquor first, while you can still taste its goodness.
