Eminem shows up at an Insane Clown Posse show with flyers to his show. On the flyers is "Insane Clown Posse might be there". This is in Detroit, before either artist was big.
Eminem pays the House of Krazees $300 to let him open up three of their shows. (Has nothing to do with ICP yet, but becomes relevant later)
Eminem gets discovered by Dr. Dre in a free-styling contest in Los Angeles.
Hektik and Mr. Bones quit the House of Krazees (a group they founded) and form Twiztid on Psychopathic Records, home of the Insane Clown Posse. They are renamed "the Monoxide Child" and "Jamie Madrox", respectively.
During a radio interview, Eminem insults the Insane Clown Posse and several other Detroit acts.
The Insane Clown Posse releases "Slim Anus" on the Mancow show. Someone tapes it and it ends up online, one of the most well-known ICP songs... even though the majority of it is performed by Jamie Madrox of Twiztid. This song is later released on a bootleg called Psychopathics from Outer Space that the Insane Clown Posse released to piss off their label.
Eminem brings two ICP lookalike dolls with him on tour, they fellate him onstage.
Eminem releases The Marshall Mathers LP, which features a skit called Ken Kaniff where ICP gives head to Eminem's gay alter-ego. Also on the album, a verse from Marshall Mathers takes a swipe at the painted duo
(Mid-June, 2000) On the streets of Detroit, Eminem pulls a gun on Insane Clown Posse road manager Douglas Dail. The gun, however, isn't loaded. Charges are still filed, and last I heard, Eminem had just received probation and community service on this charge. This happened the same day he got arrested for pistol-whipping some guy that was kissing his wife.
(Late June, 2000) Insane Clown Posse releases Ain't Nuthin' But a Bitch Thang on their web site, which features a minute-long skit between Dr. Dre and Eminem, and a song that makes reference to several of the events listed so far. This song has since become a favorite at live shows, although it wasn't released on CD until early in 2001.
Blaze Ya Dead Homie gets signed to Psychopathic Records, and puts out a 6-track EP. The last track on the EP, "Shittalkaz" features Twiztid and the Insane Clown Posse and appears to be nothing but trash-talking on Eminem and MTV.
(Halloween 2000) ICP puts out their double album Bizzar/Bizaar. One of the two disks has an acoustic-feel track called "Please Don't Hate Me", which is an extended your-mother joke. At the end of the track, we find out it's about Eminem
(April 2001) An Eminem fan holds up an Eminem T-shirt and throws M&Ms onstage at an ICP show. William Dail (brother of the aforementioned Douglas Dail) escorts him outside to protect him from the juggalos, and when he tries to fight the expulsion, (and William "Billy Bill" Dail, a very large friend of ICP's since they were kids) chokes him until he passes out.
(August 2001) At SummerSlam '01 in California, Eminem is scheduled to appear and beat up two fat guys in clown make-up
(Halloween 2002) The Insane Clown Posse releases a single to the radio called Cartoon Nightmares, where they state that other Detroit rappers talk too much smack, but then they single out Esham as the culprit by naming his song Twirk Your Body
(May 2002) Eminem releases The Eminem Show, and track 3 on the album makes reference to some clowns that need to be shut down, although the Insane Clown Posse is not specifically named.
