someone stepped on me in my sleep maybe
crushed the bottle that'd been lodged in my abdomen since a freak accident in
1985

rattle a bit when I walk
strange blue lilt to my vision from the reflections
and some of the sharp pieces cut up my speech a bit
not much
just a little rough around the edges
make me sound like I've been crying or something
