Ginny Weasley is the youngest of the Weasly children, and the only girl in the family. Like her siblings, she has red hair and freckles. A year younger than Ron, she begins her first year at Hogwarts in "Chamber of Secrets". She has quite a crush on Harry Potter in "Chamber of Secrets", even writing him a Valentine's Day poem.
His eyes are as green as a fresh pickled toad,
His hair as dark as a blackboard.
I wish he was mine, he's really divine,
The hero who conquered the Dark Lord.
Ginny plays a large role in "Chamber of Secrets", as she falls under the spell of Tom Riddle's diary and releases the basilisk from the Chamber. Luckily, Harry saves Ginny before Tom Riddle can drain the life from her.
