Guitarist and composer. One of the most persistently original and uncompromising musicians in the business. A founding member of Henry Cow and the Art Bears, among others. These bands were famous for their musical innovation and leftist politics. Now lives in Germany and does a lot of composing.
Not to be confused with Robert Fripp, who is someone else entirely.
