It's actually a star in the constellation Draco. Draco means The Dragon in greek or some other silly language.
In any case, Eltanin is the brighest star in the entire constellation. It also happens to be located in the head of the constellation. For this reason, it is often called the eye of the dragon. It's an orange giant.
