Drug Store Beetle (Stegobium Paniceum)

These beetles are of the family anobiidue and are therefore related to borer beetles. They will eat almost any organic material including spices and strychnine. This wide diet leads to them being found in chemists shops in addition to more normal stores. The adults are small and will feign death if disturbed.
