1933-91 US Fluxus performance artist and long time collaborator of Nam June Paik, Cellist and champion of new music. She travelled all over the world doing performances. One of her greatest legacies was the creation and promotion of the New York Avant-Garde Festival which she ran from 1968 to 1980. She was active in Performance Art her most famous effort being where she performed in a piece of Paik's where she was required to play the Cello topless. She was subsequently arrested by the New York Police Dept.
