A C2 boat is a decked canoe for two people. It resembles a kayak, but it's flatter, and it has one seat in the front, and one in the back. Both paddlers sit on their knees, and use one-bladed paddles. Spray skirts are used, and so are several other pieces of equipment common to both kayaks and canoes. C2s are rarely used for anything but kayak racing.
