A character on the 80's sitcom Family Ties. During the length of the show, Alex was a high school student and became a college student at Leland College studying economics. Alex was a conservative, supporting supply-side economics, Ronald Reagan, and staying glued to the stock market. He had various girlfriends, including Courteney Cox as Lauren. Alex was played by Michael J. Fox.
