When you were so young
And just a mere tyke

For I’m getting too old

Too tired to move, just glad I’m not dead

When my eyes finally close
Will it be on with the show?
Tell me a story to put me to rest
And try to remind me, I did what was best.

Ages ???- ???

About who I might see
And in whose mind I still burn
Tell me a story that never will end
About those that are family, and maybe a friend.
