I'm just a college senior interested in learning all sorts of random things. Seriously, that's the best part about this place...one topic can lead to another almost completely unrelated one, and sometimes I find myself (when I have time to spend) dizzily following a wandering path among nodes, picking up bits of information here and there.

At any rate, my interests are anything Japanese, including music, anime, and manga; computer programming, mostly in C++, but I've been having to program in Matlab lately for class; Bible prophecy and eschatology; and books. I read all sorts of things, but my favorite books are fantasy and science fiction.

Some of my favorite authors/books that I think *everyone* ought to read are (in no particular order):
-Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card
-Anything written by Sheri S. Tepper, especially The Fresco, Gibbon's Decline and Fall, and The True Game
-Anything written by Mercedes Lackey, especially the Last Herald-Mage Trilogy (Magic's Pawn, Magic's Promise, Magic's Price)
-The Green Sky Trilogy (Below the Root, And All Between, Until the Celebration) by Zilpha Keatley Snyder
-The Fionavar Tapestry by Guy Gavriel Kay (Summer Tree, Wandering Fire, Darkest Road)
-The A.D. Chronicles by Bodie and Brock Thoene (First Light, Second Touch, Third Watch, Fourth Dawn, and probably three more coming.)
And there are many more that I'll add as I think of them...
