Gammelstad is an old church village about 10 km outside of Luleå, Sweden.

The village consists of over 400 cottages surrounding a stone church. Most of the current buildings date from the 17th centry. The church itself was completed in 1492. The village was a center for commerce in the north of Sweden from the 14th centry to the mid 17th centry, when the commerce was moved to what is current day Luleå as Gammelstads harbor had become too shallow for shipping because of land elevation.

Gammelstad is listed among the UNESCO World Heritage Sites as of 7 December 1996.
