- Details of which (if any) standards this function complies to.
- Details of differences between implementations, any bugs which might be present, and any unexpected behaviour.
- Function prototypes, and details of header files which might need to be included.
- A description of what it does.
- At least one example of usage.
- Links to any related functions, and back to the metanode.
