mountain bike riders who rode
cross country as oppossed to
dirt and
downhill.
However, the mispelling was not deliberate and the magazine staff cruely seized upon the childs illiteracy and published the term. It has since become a badge of pride for mountain bike riders who shave their legs and ride short travel XC mountain bikes , adorning countless iron/alu steeds in the guise of stickers distributed by MBUK magazine itself.
