Pike is, in fact, Aaron Pavao, a game designer and computer science teacher from Madison, WI.
He got the nickname, Pike, by playing a wargame at Gen Con when he was young. The grown-up players let him play with a unit of pikes, and the name stuck. Some of his students call him Papa P.
Aaron partially owns Sancho Games.
