In
Star Wars, the
MIS is a
fighter ship used by the
Imperials.
As its name implies, its primary focus is missiles. It carries only 1 laser cannon, but it has 2 banks of missiles. This allows it to carry lots of heavy bombs for taking out capital ships, and many more advanced missiles for attacking normal dogfighting ships.
It also has a hyperdrive, a tractor beam, and the SLAM system.
