Big Softies are an
affectionate term for
skateboarding wheels with a
durometer lower than 98/A. Most popular with
longboarders and
oldschoolers because it makes it easier to
ride smoothly. Lowers
board slippage but also lowers
speed.
Some notable makers of big softies are Road Riders, Powell, and Kryptonics. Also, some newer companies like Black Label release a few soft models.
