Chemical Formula: XeF4
How created: heating a mixture of its elements at 300 °C and 6 atmospheres of pressure.

Xenon tetrafluoride is a crystalline structure that was first made in a laboratory in 1962 by reacting xenon and fluorine at 6 atm and 400 °C. Xenon is the only noble gas which is known to form an extensive series of compounds with fluorine and oxygen. Fluorine and oxygen are extremely strong oxidizing agents, but noble gases generally tend to not form compounds with other elements.
