It's those little specks of memory that make it worthwhile:
the midnight crowd of happy faces;
witnessing a thunderstorm in a deserted parking lot;
staying up for days on end;
sprinting away from nothing in particular

The experiences mean nothing and don't matter.
After everyone has moved on to bigger and better things by now,
they fade out of sight
like punctuation in a Bible
