Messenger Records is an independant record label in New York owned by Brandon Kessler. He started it in 1995 in his college dorm room. It's put out records by Chris Whitley, Johnny Society and The Hand, and Bobby Sichran, a compilation with Richard Buckner, Daniel Lanois, Gary Jules, and others, and has recently signed the great Dan Bern (i.e. Bernstein).
