This is a beautiful ampetheater in the traditional Greek tiered style on the University of Califonia's Bezerkeley campus.

Given to the university as a gift by William Randolph Hearst, the Greek is a hot little spot to catch some music in.

Every seat in the house has an exceptinal view as the stage is set at the base of a steep hill of rows of bleacher seats. The upermost 30 feet is grass and offers a spectacular view of the San Francisco Bay Bridge and Sausalito.

The performer who has played at the Greek the most is Phil Lesh the former bassist for the Grateful Dead. He's played the Greek 34 times so far...
