Enter the Haggis is a celtic-rock quintet based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Since their inception in 1996, they have released two rocking studio albums, and most recently, a live album featuring highlights from their live shows. The band tours nearly every large Celtic festival and Highland games in the United States and Canada, and are a huge hit at every one they play. Their sound is a fusion of traditional Celtic and punk rock, both powerful and energetic. Fans of the band are typically known as Haggis-heads, and can be found driving long distances to see the band play live.
The band is made up of five members:
- Let the Wind Blow High: The bands debut album, released in 1999, featuring great tunes such as Donald, Where's You Trousers, The Mexican Scotsman, The Train, Bagpipes on Mars, and Ride My Monster.
- Aerials: The bands second album, which was released in 2001. It features great tunes such as Icarus, March of the Fleas, December Ends, Lanigan's Ball, Andromeda, and the title track, Aerials.
- Live!: The bands most recent album, released in 2002, is a compilation of great recordings of the band live in concert. All of the tracks were recorded during April, 2002, during one of the bands tours.
