Their repertoire is wide, including classical, jazz, contemporary, gospel, spiritual, and they perform the work of leading African-American composers. The choir believes in the African ideal of taking a village to raise a child and the idea that classical educational instills discipline and character in the children of Harlem who participate in the choir.
