In my spare time, I can be found on my computers which run Linux (of course), with headphones on listening to Phish, CCR, and a variety of other music (classical all the way to ska... and everything in between).
I am originally from South Africa, but moved to Connecticut in the late 80s.&. I've been on the computer since 1987 on a Commodore, followed by a 8086, then 8088, 286, 486, a variety of Cyrix machines, then in 1998 I bought my first brand new Intel chip.. a PII 450.. which I am actually still using..
