Don't get too excited, Jake. You can't hop a rocket to the
Sun here. No, the Albuquerque International Sunport is the
largest commercial airport in New Mexico. It is located in
southern Albuquerque, next to
Kirtland Air Force Base and Sandia National Laboratories.
The easiest access to the terminal is from Interstate 25.
There is an exit specifically for the Sunport (Exit 221), or
one can also exit eastbound
onto Gibson Blvd. (Exit 222A) and then turn south onto Yale Blvd.
Interstate 40 intersects I-25 just north of
the airport, providing speedy access from part east and west.
