I am socially invisible. As an Asian male, I occupy a fairly undesirable position on the American racial/gender food chain. Not as undesirable, say, as a Native American, but certainly nowhere near the desirability of a Latin male. White males look down on me, literally, as small and weak. White females look down on me as small, weak, and sexually repugnant. Blacks, while having to suffer grave racial injustices, can at least take solace in their stereotype of being good at sex. Whereas I can take solace in my stereotype of being good at... calculus? Yeah, baby, invert that LaPlace Transform just like I told you to...
At least I can take pride in the fact that I don't make any gross blanket generalizations about entire races.
