Yaquinto was a games publisher from 1979 till 1983. In its time they produced a few dozen war and strategy games.

One of the things that set them apart from the other game makers of that era was thier introductory games. These were packaged in an LPalbum sleve. The game board was printed on the inside flaps while the pieces and ruleswere placed in the pockets. The outside depicted the game in both graphics and text. This places them on the boarder of microgame teritory. Often the games packaged like this were followed up by more robust bookshelf sized games with expanded rules and features.

The games themselves ran from stright up war games to hard core science fiction to fantasy flavored themes. There were also a few pirate themed games, the main one being Swashbuckler.

Yaquinto dropped out of the game industry after 1983 and is currently a printing company.
